Our Story

We met in middle school and had homeroom, English class and did track together. Scott used to coach Kristin at track meets when she was doing long jump.
Kristin moved away after one year because her Dad had orders to move to Virginia but they kept in loose contact over the years by writing letters and emailing (Scott and Kristin still have those letters!). Every time Kristin would come to town to visit, Scott was out of town.
Finally, Kristin moved back to the area in 2005 to take a job and the two were reunited after not seeing each other since they were 13 years old. They got to know each other for the next year and then started dating.
After dating for 2 1/2 years, Scott took Kristin to their old middle school track to the long jump pt, got down on one knee in the rain, told her this is where they started their lives together and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. She wholeheartedly accepted and as they plan for their future, they continually pray that God will guide their steps.
